Room 6 Has a New Star.

Well what an eventful day Monday was for Room 6.  Ryan Nelsen, former OLA pupil and Captain of the All Whites, visited school to hand out pedometers so OLA pupils can help the All Whites on their journey to 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.  Have a look at My Greatest Feat website www.mygreatestfeat.org/.   Go the All Whites!
Our very own Dominic was filmed in Room 6 for the TV programme What Now.  It was very exciting!  But the Room 6 star took it all in his stride.  Dominic was lucky enough to be selected to interview Ryan and ask him some very important questions.  We can't wait to see the interview on What Now in a couple of weeks time.
Miss Shaw was also another rising star, being a former teacher of Ryan when he was at OLA.  Miss Shaw was interviewed by TV One News.  To watch this great interview visit Mr A's blog at  www.olaroom8.blogspot.com/.

  1. Having Ryan Nelsen come to school was so cool. Before he came to school i did not know who Ryan Nelsen was. The best part for me was when all the year 8 got a photo with him. :)
